The painting is considered one of Macini’s masterpieces and depicts Peter healing a beggar who was paralytic. The restoration included correction of previous restorations, removal of old varnishes, scientific and photographic documentation.

Restoration work to be done includes removal of surface debris, assembly of frame and supports, varnish removal, correction and repair of cracks, application of protective varnish and photographic documentation.
